In this series of posts, Gabriel talks about how Airbnb embraced React Native a few years ago and what's happened since. It's a mixed bag that has led them to abandon React Native going forward.
I attend our local mobile developers meetup in Kansas City most months. It's not Apple specific, so many of the topics covered are non-native. The presenters are always excited about the platforms but all I see are the headaches around non-native solutions. I hope I'm not too much of a native snob, but I just can't get excited about React or any of the rest.
Anyone with any interest in developing React Native or other non-native apps must read this to understand the limitations.
