Many brag about their ability to multitask. It's a good skill to have because there are some times where it is essential to whatever tasks are in front of you. I always used to feel like I was getting a lot done when I multitasked. Not anymore. I have embraced the idea of focusing on a project without distraction. There's research that backs this up too.
